The Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku-Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II has ordered the former CDA chairman Pastor Blessed Ighiwi to return all the money and properties he allegedly looted during his reign as chairman of the outlawed community Development Association in Egba community.

Pastor Blessed was also asked to within fourteen days restore ten plots of lands belonging to Benin monarch he allegedly sold and others he converted to personal use.
Omo N'Oba said this at UGHA- OZOLUA venue of traditional court while presiding over matters affecting individuals, families and communities at the palace ground in Benin city.

The palace authority also directed the former CDA to return documents of houses and landed properties and other items of land developers and residents of the community to them within seven days

Also, he was told to refrain from perpetrating CDA activities and embrace peace with Mr Solomon Ighiwi, father of Pastor Blessed the former CDA.

Pastor Blessed Ighiwi was dragged to Oba palace by Enogie of Egba village Mr Palmer Omorogbe for allegedly parading himself as CDA chairman, thuggery, assault and multiple sales of lands belonging to Omo N'Oba

He was also accused of using security agents to unlawfully harassed and detain elders of the village who refuses to support him as the chairman of the community.

According to the Odionwere, the former CDA chair had also disconnected electricity supply which was gotten through communal self help to some areas that do not support the outlawed CDA activities

Having carefully looked at the matter, the palace authority, ruled that all that were illegally taken including lands, money houses, documents and other items belonging to residents of the village, land developers to them without delay.

He was also ordered along with his father to stop division in the village and make peace with the village elders and return to the palace next week.

There was jubilation at the palace by the the residents of the village over the ruling decision.
